LOCKDOWN: A JOURNEY ON FIRE
Initially, I had thought of writing this story for this blog only. But when I started writing, it was not falling under a short story. So I decided to extend it to make a good novel or novella.
Finally, I completed the story. But there were many hurdles. I was not knowing how to proceed further.
I was not sure whether there will be ROI.
Hence finally I decided to release my book on my own on kindle.
Thankfully I learned many things in this process about editing, cover design.
Yes, I am still not perfect. It is just a start.
But I am learning.
But one thing I am very much confident that the story of this book will be liked and will be appreciated.
I am trying to learn the skill of writing to its excellence.
This is a story of a young couple who were forced to travel from Pune to Agra on foot, an approximate 1000km journey during a complete Lockdown in India.
I have tried to show here our unity in diversity and the culture of gentleness in India.
I have tried to put the emotions of laborers who traveled actually across India to reach their homes with the fear of death due to hunger.
Corona Pandemic was not their concern. Their concern was hunger as they lost their earning sources.
I have tried to give justice to their feelings and sufferings.
How much I am successful, you need to tell me.
Please read the book, leave a review on amazon kindle if possible.
Book Links are given below,
The book is available in every platform of ebook on Amazon Kindle.

Superb story....I completed reading this book. The story is amazing and very nicely told. There are humourous scenes as well as sensitive scenes which makes this book a complete entertainment but with a sensual touch.

DeleteI read this book. This is a story about migrants who suffered the most due to lockdown.
ReplyDeleteI really had no idea of their sufferings. I got this idea after reading this book.
Even though this story is very much sad, it is explained and told in a very interesting style and funny situations are also very beautifully told.
Thanks
