Under fair words, beware of fraud - Part 1 - Fair words

I was giving my statement at the police station. The police constable started typing in the local language. I was very nervous at that time.  As soon as I started speaking, my inner mind was already reached in past.  It was my first day in the company. It was a marketing company and was supplying goods from regional stores to distributors and other clients.  We had a warehouse and an office attached. We hardly were ten people in the office.  Rao K. V., a very young, dynamic, and very friendly in nature, was manager of the regional office. I entered the office and was welcomed by him with a very gentle smile on his face. He was very polite and talkative in nature. He inquired about my family and wished me the best of luck. I was in heaven because getting a friendly boss normally happens only in dreams. I was feeling so lucky because you win half of the war during joining a new company if you get a good boss. He had kept the office atmosphere very pleasant. In just a few days, I got very much comfortable with my all colleagues.  He used to take care of and guide us so well that we even used to take personal problems to him.
I remember, when I was required to go to Nagpur, India by flight for some work, he guided me each step like one explains to a kid with every minute details. My tour was successful. I used to travel to different places with him for client visits. He used to fight for us for our expenses and facilities with management. What else an employee requires? Very soon, we started following and believing in him. He had started a new initiative that every month, we used to go for a movie and dinner in a good restaurant with all our company colleagues.
Now, you can understand that employees like me were so impressed by him then, how much his boss and superiors would have been impressed. No doubt, he was taking care of all bosses and superiors equally. They were not only satisfied but used to believe blindly in him.

The purity of thought

Everything in the world in its purest form becomes its best form. The water when achieves its purest form becomes the sweetest in the taste. When air is in its purest form it becomes the freshest air. The same thing happens with our minds as well. If you remove all your possessiveness from the mind, the mind works most beautifully. If your thoughts are pure, you become the best person.  Bhagwan Mahaveer, Lord Ram left everything and become God. Lord Jesus left this world on the cross and it became the symbol of Christians.  Lord Gautam Buddha also left his extra luxurious life as a king and became a saint. When your soul starts its purification, material possessiveness goes away from the soul.  There was a rich person living in a palace. He was a miser, would not spend a single penny extra, or would not help anybody. Once there was a flood in the town. His palace got immersed in water. He was on the top of the palace.  A man with a boat came and as...

Sacrifice

Human life is incomplete without sacrifice. But if we have no other option than to sacrifice something is not actually a sacrifice. It is called helplessness. It has an altogether different system. Also, sacrifice is always to give something and not taking out the life of anybody or anything. When we have lots of options by which we can possess more than what we have or there is no need to donate something to somebody but still if we sacrifice or donate for someone’s betterment is actually a sacrifice.  As human beings, we live in society. So it is our duty to donate what society needed. This donation can be small or big but it should be as per society’s requirement.   Donation by pure heart gives the best result in terms of real happiness and inner peace.  Suppose you are walking on the road with a vegan sandwich in hand. And you see a very poor small orphan boy, very hungry crying for food, ask you the sandwich. You already had food. But you have taken ...

A Man of Principles

I was employed by one company. The company had 50 employees. It is a partnership firm. They used to get job work from well-known OEM firms. Customers used to provide the raw materials, and we would process the parts. Then the customers would take back the finished products. In their logistic arrangements, the customer had a system for sending raw material as well as picking up processed material. So our job was to work efficiently because our efficiency was a direct profit to the owner. We used to have a very strict environment in the workplace. There would be a deafening silence when the owner arrived at the company. Nobody dared to say anything in front of him. Everyone used to be afraid of him. People who were new to the company initially despised him. But he had four old employees in whom he had great faith. They used to hold him in high regard. From them, I got to know that the owner is like a coconut. Though outside, he is an  extremely tough person,   he is a...
